PRE-ORDER Q4 2023 ADVGear Locking License Plate Storage Box

The ADVGear License Plate Box provides accessible, secure, and weatherproof storage. It is particularly useful for first aid supplies, an air compressor and other tire repair gear, or general tool storage.

The box is attached to the bike with two stainless steel M6 bolts through the upper license plate bracket holes and two stainless steel loop clamps around the pannier frame cross tube. Bolts through the loop clamp thread into captive nuts fixed to the box, making installation simple. The weight of the box is carried by the cross tube and not the plastic license plate bracket.

Mounting holes are pre-drilled for the R1250GS/A and R1200GS/A WC but you can move the loop clamps to any position for mounting to just about any motorcycle with a rear cross bar. The installer need only drill holes to mount the license plate to the door.

A CAN bus-friendly LED license plate light is included and must be wired to a switched circuit on the bike. With a good metal to metal connection through the loop clamp, only one wire needs to run to the bike's wiring harness; the ground can be attached to a bolt securing the license plate to the box, if desired.

The box is 8.5” square, 3.5” deep at the top and 2.5” deep at the bottom. It features a keyless user-defined combination lock with a weather cover for the lock. An extension of the door below the box provides a measure of rear spray deflection.

** All pre-drilled holes are for "plug and play" mounting on a 2014-2019+ R1250GSA and R1200GSA Liquid Cooled motorcycles. This box can be adapted to fit most adventure motorcycle license plates areas IF the motorcycle has a rear cross brace for support of the box.
