Think of AltRider header guards as armor for your motorcycle's exhaust system. Adventure Designs has AltRider header guard kits for many specific adventure-touring motorcycles, as well as a universal kit that can be used to protect the headers on just about any off-road bike. Just order one universal kit per header or exhaust pipe. The AltRider kits are made of stainless steel with a six-flange design so they can be shaped to wrap around expensive exhaust pipes and provide protection from rocks, debris and impacts. Just shape them to fit the contours of your exhaust pipes and then attach them using the stainless steel clamps that are included in each kit. The guards are made of stainless steel that's 1.5 millimeters thick to provide strong protection against damage, on the road or on the trail.
