Made of a high-temp, abrasion and impact resistant engineering polymer, the AltRider Water Pump Guard closely echoes the contours of the OEM water pump cover. The design allows it to take impact and distribute the force more evenly, so no one area is hit hard enough to puncture or fracture the pump. The guard attaches to the existing water pump fasteners, using supplied stainless fasteners and cast in place aluminum spacers.
