The German-made Heidenau K60 Scout is a tubeless front tire made to meet the demands of today's large dual-sport and adventure-touring motorcycles, such as the BMW R1200GS. We consider the Heidenau K60 as a 70/30 tire, meaning it is optimized for riders who spend 70 of their time on pavement and 30 percent on the dirt. The V-shaped, big-block tread pattern with solid shoulder blocks provides a balance of cornering ability and water dispersion on the pavement with off-road grip. Our customers have been reporting long tread life with the Heidenau K60 and we use these tires on our personal bikes.
