RAM Mount Strap Rail Base with 1 inch Ball: RAM-B-108BU

The RAM Mount accommodates rails, square or round objects from 1.0 inch to a maximum of 2.1 inch in diameter. It is an excellent choice for mounting cameras to the wing struts or similar on airplanes. Customers also use this mount to attach RAM mount parts to clip-on style motorcycle handlebars like the BMW R1200RT's and similar. To mount the RAM-B-108BU base, place the saddle shaped plate on the rail then wrap the metal clamp strap (with or without the rubber protector sleeve) around the rail and plate. Tighten the screw knob on the metal strap with a screw driver until the strap has a firm hold on the rail. The RAM-B-108BU is an alternative mounting base for Breechcraft airplanes with a “throw over yoke”.
