PRE-ORDER Heidenau K60 Scout Dual Sport Enduro FRONT Tire for Large Bikes Like the BMW R1200GSW- 120/70 -19

The Heidenau K60 Scout is a dual sport tire that we have ridden on our BMW F800GS, R1200GS Oil Cooled, KTM 950se and now we have the opportunity to run it on our R1200GSW! This tire has the same innovative design as the original version, but with minor changes to compensate for the larger size.



The K60 is quite possibly the most well-rounded dual sport tire we've ever used. It has excellent road manners, is a beast in the dirt, and lasts much longer than anything we've ever used on large dual sport, adventure-style bikes. Its longevity, especially for frequent commutes, has it ranked as one of the top tires among consumers.

For a dual sport tire to make sense it has do operate very well on the road and off of it. We've ridden tens of thousands of miles through just about every kind of terrain and road conditions you can imagine, and the K60 Scout has never let us down. 

Mileage is a huge part of why we love this tire so much. On average, riders have gotten anywhere from 9,000 to 12,000 miles out of this model. Heidenau tires tend to have a stiffer sidewall which is why the mileage is so impressive.

We've found that the mileage we're able to get out of the K60 Scout far exceeds any other big bike tire. This is exceptional considering it is one of the most capable extreme off-road tires! This tire is the complete package offering riders who frequently switch between different kinds of terrain a smoother ride.

120mm = Width
70 = Height is 60 percent of the width
B = Bias
19 = Rim Diameter
60 = 531lbs maximum weight rating
T = 118 mph maximum speed rating
TL = Tubeless***

***It is okay to use tubes with tubeless tires. Many spoke-type wheels require tubes, which are fine for this application.
