The RAM® Torque™ handlebar and rail mounting base has a 1” rubber ball and accommodates bars ¾” to 1” in diameter. Sizing inserts are included to provide a snug fit and protection of the rail. The mount utilizes nylon-insert locknuts to prevent loosening in high vibration environments.

Mounting Base Dimensions:
Accommodates rails 0.75" to 1" in diameter.

Mounting to a chrome set of handle bars, the vertical support of a golf cart or the safety rails on a boat poses a unique set of challenges. The die cast aluminum base is made from marine-grade aluminum and is powder coated to inhibit corrosion and offer a sleek matte black finish. They utilize RAM Mounts proprietary rubber ball to maintain shock and vibration-resistant grip on the mounting arm. And, the Torque mounts utilize a plastic insert and rubber pad to maintain a solid grip on the rail without damaging the finish.

Make it stick or make it quick One of the best parts of the Torque mount is that it is the perfect combination of “permanent” and movable. If you are looking for purely a quick-release mount, our Tough-Claw™ mounts are ideal.

But in scenarios where you want your mount to stay put for a while but don’t want to drill into your boat or motorcycle then the Torque mount is the versatile solution that fits those needs. Using the included Allen bolts, tightly fasten the base to your railing and ensure it is tight enough. If you ever need to move it or reposition, simply back off the tension with an Allen wrench and the mount is mobile.
